Troubleshooting

Find the issue that matches what you see, then follow the steps below.

Setup

There are no V4 Studio classes or variables in Elementor

Check that Elementor and V4 Studio are active. Open V4 Studio and check the Variables and Classes tabs. If the items are there, select Import Variables and Import Classes, then reopen the Elementor V4 editor. Check the import results for errors.

A variable is missing in Elementor after an import

Check that Elementor is active and up to date. Select Import Variables and read the results. If the variable was skipped, use the reason shown to check its name and value, then try again.

Classes

A class or CSS rule was skipped

Check the import results for the reason. Use a simple class rule, such as .class-name. V4 Studio skips unsupported selectors and rules, including IDs, element names, multiple selectors, nested rules, @container and @supports. See the Classes guide for examples.

A style is missing from a class in Elementor

Open the class's settings in Elementor and check Custom CSS. Some imported styles are saved there instead of the style controls. If the style is missing there too, check the import results for skipped rules.

Brand Data

Brand Data saves, but no tags appear in Elementor

Select Save Details in Brand Data. In Elementor, select a field that supports dynamic tags, open its dynamic tags menu and look for Brand Details. If the group is still missing, check that Elementor is up to date and reopen the editor.

A custom logo is missing after importing on another site

Export files do not copy images between sites. Upload the logo to the new site, choose it in Brand Data and select Save Details.

A field I cleared stays empty

That is expected. After you clear a field and select Save Details, it stays empty. Reopening V4 Studio does not fill it with sample content again.

Before a reset or a large change, export your saved setup from Import / Export. Importing the file adds or updates its saved items. It keeps items added later and does not restore pages or media files.
